Remembering happy moments with Rod,who is now promoted to glory. I met him in Classical Music Chat Room and when he learned that I'm from Manila, he asked if we could meet. It was during the Bamboo Pipe Organ Festival when we first met in person. I fetched him in Union Church of Manila and invited him for lunch. Since then we became good friends, we have something in common and that is our love for Music. I will not forget his last Christmas here in Manila, before he left for Bohol I invited him to celebrate Christmas in our home so he could experience Christmas with our family. We're so happy then! We watched the Christmas Parade, he also played the piano during the Christmas Worship Service in our church, and everyone loves him, not only because he plays the piano so well, but also because he's really a good person to begin with. In one of the concerts we watched, there was a time that we even attended the Cast Cocktail party because he knew the Artist (Stephan Von Bothmer from Berlin), then the next day I made an arrangement for both of them to experience the Philippine Indigenous Musical Instrument owned by one of our National Artists.Rod left me with so much memories. Thank you Rod for coming to my life as a dear friend, thanks for the memories, thanks for helping me with our choir,thanks for the gift of music, thanks for the Dinner/s, I will miss your cooking. I will miss watching you play the Piano and Pipe Organ, I will miss hearing you sing, I will surely miss you Rod. I am grateful to Classical Music Chat Room where I met you the first time, and the rest is history. Rest now in the Loving Arm of God... Till then my dear friend... love, Naomi Rodriguez
